On May 31, 2024, the Informatics and Technology Application and Research Center (ÇOBİLTUM) of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University hosted Atiye Laçin, MÜSİAD Çanakkale Representative, and Dr. Lecturer Hafuze Seçtim, Coordinator of Career and Alumni Relations at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University.

During the visit, the projects undertaken by ÇOBİLTUM, the technological opportunities it provides, and the prospects for university-industry collaboration were discussed. Laçin and Seçtim received information about the contributions of ÇOBİLTUM's advanced technology and research facilities to the regional economy and exchanged views on potential collaborations between MÜSİAD and the university.

Dr. Lecturer Hafuze Seçtim emphasized the importance of ÇOBİLTUM's involvement in projects that will contribute to the career development of students and alumni, while Atiye Laçin noted that such collaborations, which bring together the business and academic worlds in the region, are critical for sustainable development.

The visit ended with mutual good wishes and hopes for meeting in joint projects in the near future.
