Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi (ÇOMÜ) Science and Technology Application and Research Center (ÇOBİLTUM) affiliated laboratories capabilities and competencies have been detailedly transferred to the agriculture sector.

Our university’s Rector, Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Dinçay Köksal, Çanakkale Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Erdem Karadağ, Çanakkale Deputy Mayor Mehmet İrfan Mutluay, representatives from GMKA, representativees from district municipalities, District Directors of Agriculture and Forestry, and representatives from agricultural-related NGO’s were briefed by the Center  Director Assoc. Dr. Ayça Aydoğdu and academic advisors on the analysis laboratory within ÇOBİLTUM and the ongoing research activities. Later on, in the question and answer session moderated by Rector Prof. Dr. R. Cüneyt Erenoğlu, expectations, suggestions, and solution proposals from the center were discussed. Additionally, an agreement was reached for joint focus group meetings between Çanakkale Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Project teams, as well as organizing in-person producer training sessions fort he region.
