As part of the 2023-2024 Academic Year Spring Semester, the course "Laboratory Applications in Geography Education" in the Department of Turkish and Social Sciences Education, Geography Education Division, is conducted under the responsibility of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oya Erenoğlu. As part of this course, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 4:00 PM, third-year students of the Geography Education Division visited the Central Laboratories of ÇOBİLTUM.

During the visit, the students received detailed information about the working principles of the laboratories, the equipment used, and the importance of laboratory applications in the field of geography. Laboratory experts answered the students' questions and shared experiences related to practical applications.

This visit provided the students with the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge and gain practical experience, while also allowing them to see the impact of laboratory work on geography education. At the end of the visit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Oya Erenoğlu thanked the ÇOBİLTUM officials, emphasizing that such activities greatly contribute to the students' education.
