Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Science and Technology Application Center was established in 2004 as a unit under the Presidency of the University. It organizes its activities within a central organization framework, aiming to create a creative and productive research environment;

Our goal is to primarily develop high-value-added new products and materials that require high technology in the production and design stages, which can also serve Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Çanakkale, and its surroundings. We aim to work in scientific disciplines that allow interconnected and interdisciplinary research for research scientists. We also aim to meet the needs of the region's industrialists and entrepreneurs for all kinds of product, process, and material knowledge based on advanced technologies. Furthermore, we strive to enable master's and doctoral students to conduct scientific and technological research using the center's facilities and to educate, guide, and train these students.

Our objectives are as follows:

- To provide support for scientific and technological R&D research at our university.

- To offer assistance in R&D activities in industry.

- To enhance interdisciplinary project development relationships.

- To collaborate on joint projects in areas needed by the industry.

- To create a competitive, effective, and efficient research environment and facilities for scientific and technological research.
